The new edition of HSK was formally published by Office of Chinese Language Council International and has been attracting a lot of attention from non Chinese speaking countries since November of 2009.In addition,some foreigners come to China to learn Chinese or work must pass the test.The new edition of HSK 6 is the summit level of this test,so it is more difficult than others,and the reading part is the important part and is regarded as the most difficult part.Many scholars have explored the rank,vocabularies,theoretical basis,test question types differences between the new edition of HSK 6 and the previous previous test.The study about the reading part concentrates on statistic analysis about the mock test and true subjects.what's more,the number of true subjects is very few,and analysis views are limited.At last,many test strategies are put forward from the perspective of test question types.Therefore,this paper analyses the reading part of the new edition of HSK 6,and compares the Chinese characters difference in the Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus of the old previous and new Level 6 to explore the both syllabus' relationship,analyzes the true subjects of the year 2010,2011,2012 and 2013 from more views to improve the credibility of the results,at last put forward more comprehensive test-taking strategies of the reading part of the new edition of HSK 6.The first part of this paper is the introduction which firstly introduces the research purpose and significance,and secondly introduces the research techniques specifically,at last introduces the research status about the comparison between the old previous HSK and the new edition of HSK 6,the reading part of the new edition of HSK 6,the teaching of reading,the reading approaches and strategies,the reading course textbook of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second part compare the rank,the Chinese characters,the vocabularies and the question types between the previous HSK and the new edition of HSK 6,then we can see there is intimate connection between the previous HSK and the new edition ofHSK 6,and we can also see that the new edition of HSK 6 is more reasonable than the previous.The third part analyzes the question types.There are four parts of reading of the new edition HSK 6: grammatically wrong sentence finding,words gap filling,sentence gap filling,reading comprehension.This paper will study the first part's question types,the second part's vocabularies characteristic and idioms,the third part's logical relationship and engagement methods,the fourth part's question types?passage's topic and length.The fourth part analyzes the students' reading status according researching the questionnaire,then finds out the problems,at last puts forward the solving strategies from question types,mindset and so on.The fifth part studies the reading teaching's status and put forward the improvement strategies.By class observation,interview and the questionnaire,we can find the shortcomings of the teachers' reading teaching,and put forward the corresponding strategies.The sixth part studies the book of Developing Chinese Advanced Reading Course from the perspective of vocabularies,topic of articles,length of articles and exercises.Then put forward the relevant suggestion by combing with the analysis results of test questions.The seventh part is conclusion,introduces the achievements and shortcomings of this paper.The paper hopes these test-taking strategies can help students improve their reading ability and score of the new edition of HSK6,also can provide some valuable reference to reading instruction and compile the textbook.
