This paper is a comprehensive collation and textual research about Commentaries on the Ritual of Chou which was published by Nanchang Prefectural School and enshrined by Chen Li in Qing Dynasty.There are for parts.The fist one is the introduction about Chen and Commentaries on the Ritual of Chou,and their research status.The second part includes two different content.One is Chen's emendation according to Ruan Yuan's collation;the other is Chen's own collation results.The third part is researching for Chen's writing and emendated language;the connection between Chen and Mao's edition.Finally,it comes to conclusions about the characteristics and constructive affection of Chen's emendation in the book.Chen's collacton on Ruan's Commentaries on the Thirteen Classics is integrated.It had been named Chinese Rare Ancient Book.Chen read and punctuated the thirteen books around from 1853 to 1864,and writed Dongshu Reading Notes in his old age.He read the Commentaries on the Ritual of Chou during his 44 to 47.This paper figured out about 500 points of Chen's collation results.There is apporoach 70% content from Ruan Yuan's collation.Chen just corrected the literal error.The rest more than 20% belongs to himself.It follows that Chen could deeply respecte predecessors' results but bring forth new ideas.His conclusion coincided with Sun Yirang's viewpoint which can prove Chen's collation is worth of studying.This paper tries to explose Chen's emendation results and find out the collaction books' value to collate our country's traditional classic.
