In recent years,there has been an increasing number of original Chinese dance dramas,including excellent works,but the Chinese dance drama is still learning and developing in the same way as the development of western dance dramas.China national art should show the national cultural connotation,so more and more scholars and director to turn,looking for,on the basis of historical and cultural roots,try with a modern thinking and aesthetic consciousness,through the modern expression to interpret history,performance history,refactoring history.Ballet creation both at home and abroad,the historical stories and classic literature as the creative source of ballet,ballet is not only the present development trend,also is the combination of traditional and modern artistic and cultural achievements.Under siege is one of the model,such as history,dancing,aesthetic theory as the basis,using literature research,case analysis,theoretical analysis and so on the main methods to study,to analyze historical themes in the modern interpretation of modem and contemporary dance,for historical themes in the use of modem and contemporary ballet and the innovation to contribute a little.This paper discusses the background,meaning,present situation and methods of the research in this paper from five parts.In the second part,the structure of the narrative of under siege is analyzed by traditional narrative form and modern narrative mode.The third part focuses on the modernization of body language and the modem symbolic meaning of body language to explain the body language of the core characters in the show.In the fourth part,the environmental design of under siege is analyzed in costumes,dance and music.The fifth part focuses on the analysis of the success of the series of under siege.Paper through to the ballet under siege at all levels,and the analysis of the historical reinterpretation of the story,not only let people review the history of the modem society,but also feel the history stories through modern ballet at the core of Chinese traditional cultural spirit.Whether it is the development of the story or the shaping of the characters,it seems that it is possible to find a historical imprint in the present.It is also the fascination of the traditional culture of the historical story.Under siege is an example,it will inspire more dancers reflect the importance of historical themes expressed in modem way,also for the Chinese ballet creation to develop a different culture vision laid a solid foundation.
