A Study On The Adjective Pairs

In this paper,we use the adjective pairs as the research object.Select the most representative of the four formats for comparison,classification,description,explanation.This paper mainly discusses the features of adjectives,such as syntax,semantics and pragmatics,which can be used in this format.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction part.This paper mainly introduces the source of the topic,the current research status and the methods used.Chapter 2 : Through the investigation of four kinds of components for each format,the analysis can enter to lift in the form of adjectives in syllable,prototype degree,syntactic types,semantic types and style etc.,and as far as possible to give the corresponding explanation.On this basis,we further investigate the differences of the different types of adjectives in the form and the motivation.Chapter 3:Focus on the overall characteristics of the format.Firstly,this paper investigates the quantitative features of the adjective to the form.It is pointed out that the quantity of the category belongs to the non numeric quantity of the dominant quantity.We can't simply define it as a large or small amount,which is also a process of change.Adjectives exist to lift the format.From the point of measurement,measurement,measurement,measurement of length direction level,measurement range investigation,found the adjective to give more performance for the subjective incremental format.There is a difference between the results obtained from the investigation of the components and the form of a simple form of investigation and the way of addition.Furthermore,it is proved that the construction grammar is notspeculative.Secondly,on the basis of this,the author describes the situation of A and B in order to describe the adjective as the main form.At the same time,the same method is used to investigate the distribution of the adjectives and the whole syntactic distribution of the format,which can be used to illustrate the grammatical features of the adjective.At last,the author tries to explain the semantic focus of the adjective form.Chapter 4 : This paper reveals the syntactic functions of adjectives and their pragmatic functions.It is found that the syntactic function is rich,which can be used as predicate,adverbial,complement and attribute.The syntactic function of the adjective with the main component of the format has certain inheritance.Core components greatly affect the overall function.In addition to the development,some adjectives have the syntactic distribution of the subject,object and clause that the adjective does not have.Through the comparative analysis,this paper investigates the pragmatic color and the tendency of subjectivity in the form of the whole,and studies the deviation of the pragmatic color of the four types of adjectives.Pointed out that the four format has some consistency in sentence distribution,mainly in the statement,in addition to the "? A ? B" can not enter the imperative sentence,the other three format does not exclude other types of sentence.At the same time,the author studies the choice of the style of the adjective to the style of the style.It is found that there are differences between internal and external formats.In the category of emotion,there is still a difference in the adjective form.In addition to the " ? A ? B" for the complimentary construction,the other three are derogatory constructions.From which we can find constructions of emotion category sentence type has certain selectivity.Derogatory meanings constructions of bias in the imperative sentence.At the end of this chapter,we focus on the features of the focus of the adjectives.Chapter 5:As the conclusion part of this chapter,revealed the main conclusions of this paper out,and pointed out the need to further explore the deficiency in this paper.
