The Research On Poetic Theory And Works Of Zhao Zhishen

Zhao Zhishen,a poet in Zibo Boshan of Shan Dong province,is one of the most famous poets among six ones in Qing dynasty.And he also has another title,which is called “South Zha and North Zhao”.During his lifetime,he composed about 1056 works.Some are about the remarkable theories,such as Tan Long Lu and Sheng Diao Pu.Considering his practical works and poetic theories,Zhao Zhishen earns his place on academic study.And a lot of studies have been conducted on his poetic theories in recent years,but there are few people who focus on his texts.Some ones conclude his texts with a very simple summary and they do not dig into his poetic value.Therefore,my paper will do a research on his works and theories in a close reading way,which can help us find corresponding poetic theories with works,find out some connections between his works and theories and get some new more understanding on his poetic study.The paper consists of six parts.In the first part,I will make a simple analysis and introduciton for the current study situation on his poems and theories,and also demonstrate my paper’s purpose and meaning as well as research ideas.In the second part,it will explain his poem-creations along with the theory.And also this part is divided into two subparts.Firsly,it tells that it is Zhao Zhishen’s exclusive and arrogant personality that create a poetic perspective that people’s personality must exist with poem in a close reading way.Secondly,it says that it is the realistic and elegant sprits which can be shown in his poems that create a poetic perspective that somthing else in outside also have connections with poems.In the third part,it tells that Zhao Zhishen learn from many famous poem-writers,such as Du Fu,Li Bai,Bai Juyi,and Su Shi,resulting in a very various wrting styles,create a poetic perspective that man must learn from everything that is worthwhile as much as possible.In the fourth part,the contradictions between his practices and theories will be paid more attention to by three parts.Firstly,it analyzes that the divine theory that is reflected from his scenic poems contradicts his objections to divinity.Secondly,it discusses that his poems appears much more so realistic that they contradict his advocasy ofgentle and kind writing style.Thirdly,it emphasizes that Zhao Zhishen pays much more attention to the word choices while that just contradicts his advocasy that poem-writing must be combined with some certain words.All three parts can reflect the complex of poem-creation,not just some simple practices along with the theory.In the fifth part,it mainly says some remarks which poets after him make by two parts.Firstly,it explains the reasons why Zhao Zhishen has paranoid and narrow personalities which are evaluated by some poets after him while they comments on his poems.Secondly,my papers will reappraise his pomes’ value objectively by some excerpts from “Qing Dai Lun Shi Jue Ju”and some veiws from poems in Qing Dynasty.In the sixth part,it makes an analysis on the current achievements and predicament of the study by two parts.Firstly,it attaches great importance to the notes when creating poems by the formats and findings of “Zhao Zhishen Poetry Notes”.Secondly,it indicates some deficiencies of the “Zhao Zhishen Poetry Notes”,and makes some addings and corrections,such as notes without detailed explantion;notes that should do but not;notes that wrongly remarked,so that we can get the notes much more complete and provide more literature materials for the research on Zhao Zhishen’s poems.
