Multidimensional Theoretical Perspective Of Jared Diamond’s Environmental History

The main purpose of this paper is to analyzing the multidimensional theory vision of Jared Demond’s environmental history and studing the characteristics of his multidimensional theory vision.Depth study of Diamond’s environmental history of multidimensional theory vision,is conducive to enrich the domestic history of the history of Diamond,and deepen the understanding of environmental history in the domestic history,that helps us to better exchange of Chinese and foreign environmental history and China’s environmental history development of.But also help us to better understand the contemporary value of environmental history,scientific response to environmental problems.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the historical view of Diamond’s environmental history.Through the study of individual regions,he draws the general law of development.Study the history of local history from the perspective of global history.Which also pointed out that China’s environmental problems,and made some suggestions.The second part is the historical vision of Diamond’s history of civilization,which includes Diamond’s understanding of the history of human evolution.He starts from the biology profession and carries on the historical research.But also his concept of civilized development,which also contains him and other historians of civilizations for the different views.The third part is the social history of Diamond’s history of the environment,including disease,war,economy and the relationship between traditional society and the environment.All aspects of today’s environmental history is a hot topic.The fourth part is the characteristics of the multidimensional theory vision of Diamond’s environmental history.Mainly from his research methods,the attitude of history and other aspects of the analysis.This is also a history of environmental history,Diamond and other scholars of different places,he has other scholars do not have the professionalism.Jared Diamond has conducted historical research in his unique identity,which has attracted more attention from academia,and the broad masses of readers of the community.He is not a professional historian,but his environmental history research should not be excluded from history,there are many places worth learning from.
