As an important field of psychological measurement,test equating has a main purpose is to make comparable between versions of the test scores,which guarantees the fairness of the examination.Based on the Classical Test Theory model,the papers of psychological counselor(level 3)of professional qualification examination in November 2015 and May 2015 were conducted an equating analysis,which plays a significant role in studying and application of the domestic qualification examination both in the theoretical and practical level.In the current study,three linear equating methods named Tucker Observed Score,Levine Observed Score and Levine True Score based on the Classical Test Theory model were compared in the design of the common-item non-equivalent.By comparing the equating errors of the three methods under different Overall Weights,the method with the minimum equating error was chosen finally to analyze the psychological counselor professional qualification examination(level 3).After a strict statistics and analysis of the scores in two tests with the above method,an equivalent conversion scores table of the psychological counselor professional qualification examination(level 3)in November 2015 and May 2015 was proposed.The correlation coefficients between the common-item and two tests of November2015 and May 2015 were 0.888 and 0.855,respectively.There was a significant correlation between the anchor test and the two tests.In linear equating method,when the total weight is 1,the intercept and slope are-4.673,0.966 respectively in Tucker Observation Score and the intercept and slope are-5.850,0.961 respective in Levine Observation Score.when the total weight is 0.501,the intercept and slope are-4.692,0.965 respectively in Tucker Observation Score,-5.930,0.963 in Levine Observation Score and-7.153,0.985 in Levine True Score.The mean-squared error is regarded as the indicator to evaluate equating errors.When the total weight is 1,the equating error of Tucker Observation Score is lowest,1.6008,while the equating error of Levine Observation Score is largest,2.0687.It can be founded that when the total weight is 1,the Tucker Observation Score is the most suitable method applied in the analysis of psychological counselor professional qualification examination.when the total weightis 1,the equivalent equation of Tucker Observation Score is y=0.966x-4.674.Through the equating equation,we obtained an equivalent conversion scores table of the psychological counselor professional qualification examination(level 3)in November2015 and May 2015.With the analysis of the equating data of the study,some major findings are as follows:1.The anchor test design is more scientific in test equating for the psychological counselor professional qualification examination.2.The Tucker method is more suitable to achieve equivalent transform for psychological counselor professional qualification examination.3.Different overall weight show little influence on equating result of psychological counselor professional qualification examination.
