| A lot of TV series related to parenting have come out in the TV series market in China since 2013.Starting from “The Sweet Burden” broadcasted by Hunan TV,TV series related to parenting,such as “Baby”,“Duan Nai”,“Angel is coming”,“Little Daddy”,“Child's Slave”,“Hot Mom”,“A Love for Separation” have come out.A popular trend of “home alone and pregnant women in power” has been aroused on TV screen,which has become a unique cultural landscape on TV screen.Parenting TV series focus the topic on parenting,marriage relationship and generation conflict;elements of NEET,children's slave,strict mom,stay-at-home dad etc.run through the TV series.In view of the characterization of TV series with parenting theme,they are with distinctive characteristics: taking “parenting” as the motif of the script,combining hot social topics such as parenting,marriage relationship and generation conflict etc and telling stories about parenting.In essence,parenting TV series is a change of family ethics play in the new social cultural context since the 21 st century.We have found out from the ethical narrative analysis of parenting TV series that parenting TV series analyze and deduce parenthood from different perspectives of “strict mother + soft mother”,“soft father + strict father” and “child and grandparents” etc;make text construction for parenting TV series with adoption of the narrative structure of flow of life,dramatic plot setting as well as narrative style of light comedy;and then present the parenting topic to the audience in way of life,drama and comedy and finally realize the unity between aesthetic entertainment and real warmth and meet the dual spiritual demands of modern audience for the entertainment and humanity of TV series.Combining family ethics and social hot spot analysis,domestic parenting TV series have become the drama expressions for social reality.In the aspect of family ethics,parenting TV series have revealed the contemporary marriage relations to audience and also presented the multi-dimensional parenting concepts between “strict mother” and “soft father”,different generations and different social classes;in the aspect of social hot spot,on one hand,it presents the embarrassing identity dislocation of new parents vividly;on the other hand,it deduces the “anxiety of middle class” in reality through plot.As the images reflecting society and reality,domestic parenting TV series are widely praised;at the same time,they arouse strong emotional resonance of audience.There are a lot of problems in the development of our parenting TV series due to the influence of various factors.For example,the reflection of reality in the TV series is superficial;homogeneity exists in character setting and plot setting.In view of this,domestic parenting TV series need to find new development strategies.Starting from the acceptance dimension of audience,it needs to integrate mainstream values and civilian consciousness skillfully during creation and integrate the mainstream values into civilian consciousness silently in a practical way;make deep plowing for script and other texts,select materials from life,seek for authenticity,follow up the changes of times,people behavior,ideas and concepts closely,create works with characteristics of times,carry out film shooting and promote the health development of parenting TV series. |
