Research on acquisition order is a hot topic in the study of second language acquisition recently.It's a new perspective to investigate the acquisition order of students learning Chinese.But researches on acquisition order about conjunctions exist in small quantities,not to mention some certain conjunction.Therefore,it's worthy to explore the acquisition order of the conjunction word “ER”.On the basis of previous studies,we used some methods,such as language material collection and analysis,as well as questionnaire test to investigate objective acquisition of Chinese particle “ER”.The paper is divided into 6 chapters.The first chapter,the preface,tells about some basic information,including value of the topic,methods and source of materials.Then,we reviewed some relative researches about Chinese particle “ER”.The third and fourth chapters are the most significant parts of the paper.We came up with a hypothetical acquisition order about foreign students in learning conjunction word “ER”,which is based on the grammaticalization order and main usage of “ER”.To support our assumption,we examine the actual order about students' acquisition of “ER” by corpus analysis and language material test.In chapter 4,based on the above conclusion and analysis of the mistakes and errors found in language material about “ER”,we tried to give some explanations.In chapter 5,after discussing the relationship between the instruction order and objective order of “ER”,we provided some classroom teaching suggestion about “ER”.Chapter 6 offers a brief summary and deficiencies of this paper.
