In the period of the war of resistance against Japan,the great disparity of the national strength between China and Japan is doomed to be arduous and protracted.If China wants to win the final victory in the war against Japanese aggression and the preservation of national life,it is necessary to mobilize the enthusiasm of all the people in the war of resistance against Japan,and unite the strength of the whole Chinese nation.In this historical context,the importance of the image of the Chinese nation has become increasingly prominent.How to construct the image of"the Chinese nation",so as to unite the national spirit,and stimulate the will of the war of resistance,so that it becomes the spiritual fortress of the national superior enemy,and becomes the common subject of the domestic anti Japanese forces.At the same time,as the invaders,Japanese apparently awared of the importance of the issue,in their view,dismantling and distort the"Chinese nation"image,to the people of the occupied areas with colonial values they make,can really control the Chinese territory.Therefore,the two sides to"Chinese nation"image as the breakthrough point,the ideological level of the struggle has become an important event in the field of cultural propaganda,is a problem worthy of study.In this paper,the author selects the movie,which is considerable importance in the field of cultural propaganda media as the research object,analysis of Japan and China how both sides through this tool film fierce fighting around the"Chinese nation"image.It should be noted that,according to the historical reality at that time,in this paper,the"enemy and our party"has more than the general meaning of the two elements of the relationship.The areas which belong to the enemy occupied such as Wang puppet regime and the puppet Manchuria.And the enemy's rear area which led by the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.Therefore,the author not only pay attention to the difference between the enemy",will also pay attention to the difference between the production with the enemy leadership of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of the film.In this article the author selected the occupied area"puppet Manchuria film"mechanism"Manchuria Film Association",the Kuomintang state-owned film agency"China Central FilmStudio(CCFS??)","China Film Studio(CFS??)"and the films produced by the Yan'an film group which under the leadership of the Communist Party of china.The author hopes that through the comprehensive comparison and detailed analysis of these films,we will outline the characteristics of the"Chinese nation"image constructed and interpreted by the parties during the war of resistance against Japan,and show the differences and relations between them.Then,thourgh the characteristics and the differences and relations between them,with the specific historical,political and social factors,the paper reveals the logic and the reasons behind it.
