Literature is pursuing beauty ultimately which is the same as the arts and the requirements and pursuits about beauty during the procss are considered as "forever theme" such as"love".But aesthetics is normally understood as beauty,that is,theoratical study on beaut y."Aesthetics" is the symbolic of beauty and implication goes steady."Ugliness" is consci ously appeared literaly and is recognized as beauty which has equal status with beauty.In other words,ugliness is melded together withb eauty and the status of ugliness is improving.Ugliness" is appeared distortedly and freakish 1y about essential capacity of people.It is existing among things and existing together with beauty which is compared with beauty,and also developing in the strguggle.The short fiction is completed in 1920's in the process of development of Korean modern novel.Before 1920' s the novels are placed emphasis on nationality and nation.However,after 1920's,they are placed importance on personal life,furthermore,discovering and realizing s elf in the Japanese colonial ruling situation.The novels which are written during this time not only include the definition of "beauty",but also include "ugliness".And,they also definets the realization of beauty and cover "beautiful things".We should consider both "be auty" and "ugliness" refers to the situation during this time.Because "Ugliness" is a literal phenomenon which is stood out in the colonies.In addition,the authors starts narratively shaping their experienced life in their novels.In this study,"Deaf Samryongyi" written by Na Dohyang,"When Buckwheat Flowers Blossom"written by Lee Hyoseok,and "Disseminated sonata" written by Kim Dong in will be intensively analyzed and mainly discussed the Aesthetics of Ugliness of the hero of the novels how to be appeared.The thesis are divided into four parts.
