A Study On The Writing Style Of The French-Belgian School

Vieuxtemps is a violinist,composer and educator in Belgian in 19 century,and he is the third generation outstanding representative of the French-Belgian violin school.The long history of the Italian school gave birth to the French-Belgian school,and the French-Belgian school from the creation of Viotti,to the third generation of the Vieuxtemps has formed more mature writing techniques,playing style and systematic and scientific heritage materials.As an important figure who linked the past and the future,Vieuxtemps takes up the task of succession and inheritance.He not only inherits the fine tradition of his teacher Berio,but also cultivates excellent students like Ysaye.This article attempts to discuss the two concertos and two concert pieces of Vieuxtemps,to look into the French-Belgian school at that time,hoping through such analysis and discussion,we can more deeply understand and feel the style and the atmosphere of French-Belgian school which is not only romantic and elegant,but also full of surging passion.
