Study On The Local Food And Ritual Music

The wedding ceremony in Lianjiang county Fuzhou city Fujian province is investigation object in this paper,and the writer explored changes of food and music combining with ocean culture and the custom of the country customs in that place.The music and food culture in wedding ceremony is a reflection of China's rural culture.In old ages,eating is the most important thing in people life.As a part of the wedding ceremony,ritual of food includes the expectation for better life and grateful for their ancestral and gods.And the sound is the inheritance and development of traditional music.With changes of cultural connotation,the pattern of wedding ceremony is advancing also.In this paper,on one hand,the research with respect to sounds and food explains the deep analysis of culture.On the other hand,from the wedding ceremony custom and local social culture changes,we get the points that the most important change is the development of ritual concept.And these reflect to different choices of music and food.This paper consists of introduction,five chapters and epilogue.The idea is as follows:In the apart of introduction,writer discusses the geographical,ethnic characteristics,perspective,research and methods.In the first chapter,the study is presenting the change of ritual culture from the text of food and traditional music.In the second chapter,writer explains the detailed process and sound landscape in wedding ceremony,which states the development of local culture further.In the third chapter,the study begins to analyze sounds in the performance of wedding ceremony from the human voice,instrumental sound and electroacoustic.The analysis of folk wind music is the focus of this chapter,writer shows the relationship between the internal order of sound,audience's physical and mental harmony through the tune,elements,melody,rhythm,system and structure.In the fourth chapter,we discuss that the transition is in that change of social ritual culture,and looking for the uniqueness and unity from the local custom.In the part of fifth chapter,writer tries to explain the relation of cultural element,social environment and people's health from the wedding of rural society.
