An Analysis Of The Artistic Techniques Of "Time-ending Quartet" In Olivier Messian

The core content of the article includes the rhythm characteristics,the structure of the pitch and the musical structure of Messian ’s ”Time-ending Quartet”.By combing the various characteristics of the rhythm setting in the works,the practical application of the limited shift mode and the structural principle of the curved structure,so as to realize the profound understanding of the composition techniques of the composer and enrich the connotation of the music creation.In addition,the article tries to open a variety of novel and unique creative techniques contained in the creation of Messian’s music from the analysis of the quartet of the Eighth Movement.Such as: additional time rhythm,multi-modal use,irreversible rhythm,resonance chord,four times the chord,birds melody features and so on.
