In the process of the development of Chinese contemporary literature,Mo Yan's fictions have an indispensable role.Starting from the increasingly passionate tide of reform and opening up in the 1980s,Mo Yan shocked the literary field of China by virtue of his novel Transparent Carrot.And then Red Sorghum,The Republic of Wine,Big Breasts and Wide Hips,Fatigue of Life and Death and so other novels were published.And then he won a Nobel for Literature.So far,Mo Yan has kept amazing creative vigor and innovative desire,and he has a great impact in the literary field of China,and even the international literary field.In the over thirty years of his writing course,Mo Yan keeps right balance between worldliness and nationality in his novels.On the one hand,Mo Yan is geared to international standards.On the other hand,he deeply roots in long and rich Chinese culture tradition,and in wide and complex social history and reality.That is a contribution Mo Yan makes to the development of Chinese contemporary literature.Reading Mo Yan's novels which are filled with rich "chaos" and "ferity",readers not only associate it with the specious magic world in Marquez's novels,but also connect it with Chinese traditional literary,especially the ghost world in LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI.The rich and diverse literature flavor of Mo Yan's novels will continue to be prevalent.This paper mainly describes the influence of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI on the fantasy style in Mo Yan's novels,in which there are three parts-introduction,subject and peroration.In the part of introduction,it firstly teases the development venation of fantasy style in Chinese traditional literature.And then it analyses the reason why LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI can influence the fantasy style of Mo Yan's novels,and discusses the origins and connections between the two.In the chapter one,relying on the imagery writing of primitive culture,this thesis analyses the diverse manifestation of Mo Yan's novels and the mode of thinking about animism in LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,and then based on that,the two expresses the artistic technique of mixture and integration.According to terror horror image,this paper dissects the two writers' successive and original concept of fear.In chapter two,making the legend narrative tradition as the point,the thesis discusses the effect of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI on Mo Yan's novels in narrative levels from four angles-topic selection with feature of ghost stories,narrative technique with feature of legendary,relating reality with illusion,mixing poetry and mystery together.In chapter three,from the plots,the night circumstances and horror characters,the thesis discusses the reference and conversion of Mo Yan's novels learning from LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,which means to trace to the source of the most direct connection between the two.
