| This thesis is about a comparative study on Chinese "chi55" words and Thai "kin33" Words.First,making the closed corpus statistics within the scope of Chinese dictionary?sixth version?,Xinhua Idiomatic Language Dictionary,Thai Royal Dictionary,and Thai Youth Language Dictionary,then based on the reference of predecessors' research results,analyzing the features of the Chinese "chi55" words and Thai " kin33" words from the meaning situation,formation situation,syntax structure,metaphor and metonymy,I make the analysis of the Chinese "chi55"words,and Thai "kin33" words from its cultural connotation by combining the suggestion of the Chinese language learners in Thailand,learbing Chinese with "chi55" words.The text is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction which describes the purpose and significance of the topic related to research trends,the research theories and research results in the current academic world about the Chinese "chi55" and Thai "kin33".The second part is about the Chinese "chi55'"and Thai "kin33" words with word formation described and analyzed.The third part is about the analysis of the Chinese "chi55" words and Thai " kin33" words on its syntax and semantic analysis,and to find the differences and similarities between the two languages.The fourth Part is the analysis of the Chinese "chi55" words and Thai "kin33" words from the analysis of cultural connotation,the discussion of vocabulary sources and cultural background and the differences and similarities of cultural connotation between the two languages.The fifth part involves the issue of questionnaires designed for the purpose of research in junior and senior student of Chinese majors from three university in northeastern Thailand.This is to look at the students'understanding and misconception about Chinese "chi55" words and to bring forth suggestions on teaching Chinese "chi55" words as a second language and on translating Chinese "chi55" words into Thai language.The sixth part is the summary.The summary indicate the lack of research and the future direction of improvement. |
