This report is based on an interpreting practice of a 10-day summer camp activity cosponsored by the Chinese Culture and Education Center and Baoding No.2 High School Branch.The interpreting task was conducted by the author solo.The task includes four pieces of work: interpreting for the teachers between the summer camp of Chinese Culture and Education Center and Baoding No.2 High School Branch before the summer camp;interpreting for students,parents,and foreign teachers when dining out;interpreting at the meeting between the principal and foreign teachers;and interpreting for the Qingxiling visit.Four chapters are contained in this report: the first chapter introduces the interpreting task;the second chapter is about the previous preparations and some problems which appeared in the process of interpreting;the third chapter is the case analysis;and the fourth chapter concludes the interpreting practice report.Through the interpreting practice,the author finds some problems and weaknesses,and gets some lessons from it,which,the author hopes,will benefit herself and other interpreting students in the future.
