The Expert Commentary Training Of Hazard Anticipation For Novice Driver

Hazard anticipation means that the driver can correctly anticipate the potential danger in the road environment and how to develop the risk.It has an important influence on the driver's safety.This study is divided into two parts.In this study,we have developed the hazard anticipation test,classified the difference between the novice drivers and the experienced drivers.At the same time,we developed the expert commentary training of hazard anticipation for novice driver,in order to improve the drivers' hazard anticipation.This study is divided into two parts.In the first part,66 novice driver and 64 experienced drivers' eye movement data and reaction time were analyzed and investigated,we have developed the hazard anticipation test,classified the difference between the novice drivers and the experienced drivers.In the second part,65 novice drivers' eye movement data and reaction time were analyzed and investigated,we developed the expert commentary training of hazard anticipation for novice driver,in order to improve the drivers' hazard anticipation.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The first part:we have developed the hazard anticipation test,classified the difference between the novice drivers and the experienced drivers.It can apply to improve the novice drivers' hazard anticipation.(1)The experience of the driver reaction is shorter than the novice driver.(2)The first fixation time of experienced drivers is shorter than that of novice drivers.The driver in the central region of the first fixation duration significantly faster than in the peripheral area.(3)The visit duration and the total visit duration,the central region more than peripheral regions;and in the peripheral region of the search times than the central areas.(2)The second part:we developed the expert commentary training of hazard anticipation for novice driver,in order to improve the drivers' hazard anticipation.(1)The training novice driver of the hazard of the reaction time faster than the no training novice driver.(2)The training novice driver first fixation time was significantly faster than the no training novice driver.The first time in the outer peripheral region,the training novice driver first fixation time was significantly faster than the no training novice driver.The first time in the central region of the driver is faster than the outer peripheral region.(3)There is no significantly difference on the visit duration.The visit time in the central region of the driver is longer than the outer peripheral region.Visit count in the outer peripheral region of the novice drivers' was significantly more than in the central region.(4)The total visit duration in the central region of the training novice driver is shorter than the no training novice driver.But there is no significantly difference in the outer peripheral region.Overall,in the first part,we have developed the hazard anticipation test,classified the difference between the novice drivers and the experienced drivers.And provide tool for the second part.In the second part,we developed the expert commentary training of hazard anticipation for novice driver,in order to improve the drivers' hazard anticipation.And it can be applied to improve the novice drivers' hazard anticipation.
