A Comparison Between "Ryukyu Three Policy" And "Korea Strategy"

In the Ming and Qing dynasties,Ryukyu and Korea had been the most closely with China's tributary countries,they were all as vassal countries to China tribute and trade.China between Ryukyu and Korea were good relations.To modern times,Ryukyu and Korea had been violated by Western countries,especially Japan's constant infestation.Faced with such a crisis,China's foreign diplomatic envoy He Ruzhang,Huang Zunxian put forward the "Ryukyu three policy" and "Korea strategy"to deal with."Ryukyu three policy" was through the incident and foreign mediation to carry out and "Korean strategy" was implemented through talks and the "Korea Treaty" signed to achieve.Through the micro-contrast study of "Ryukyu three policy"and "Korea strategy",we find that the common reason why the Qing government can not protect was Japan's invasion of Taiwan,the interference of Russia and expansion of Japan's strength.Factors together led to the Qing government can not save the Ryukyu and Korea.At the same time,the Qing Dynasty in the treatment of Ryukyu and Korea has a different attitude,this difference is reflected in:different military strategy,from closed to the positive communication and from the support to the positive response.Compared with the dispute in the Ryukyu,the Qing government more active to the Korea without losing its diplomatic strategy than the Ryukyu period.Through the analysis and comparison of the two strategies,we can see the impact of this difference:first,the loss of Ryukyu and Korea,the Qing government frontier buffer zone is missing.Compared to the Ryukyu period,the Qing Dynasty is a positive for North Korea,reflecting the gradual awakening of the diplomatic consciousness of the Qing Dynasty in East Asia.Finally,whether it is "Ryukyu three policy" or "the Ryukyu three policy" or" Korea strategy ",it is due to Ryukyu and Korea before and after the two periods of foreign intelligence collection work deficiencies,making the strategy is not fine and targeted.It is difficult to save the loss of the two dynasties tribute.
