Piano Concerto No.1(1796)is a pioneering work on Beethoven’s Concerto and a masterpiece of his early works.This paper,the author studies the playing skills of Beethoven,s Piano Concerto No.1(first movement)which contains the strength of the control,speed control,usage of pedals,and the Octave playing method,etc.Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.1(first movement)has four features:First,in the rapid movement,Comparing inflextion of touch keys should be played from shoulder to wrist,then finger,play relax each tone.Each section begins as the key tone,focus on the key tone finger with full force to support the three tone voice,to the rest of the post key play,or go to arms to use extrapolation method to aid adduction of ascending and descending melody efforts,it will make the melody more coherent.Second.There’re 4 kinds of usages of staccato pedal,they’re shallow pedal,shaking pedal,rhythm pedal and slitting pedal.If free to use pedal or if the pedal’ s range is too large,it makes buzzing sound,so use pedals carefully.Third,Octave playing needs to the palm’s support,the size of hand also affects the tension of the hand joint,whether hands are big or small,arms and shoulders should be relax and don’t raise the shoulders.Accurate and powerful octave is from the right posture.Fourth,there are several ways to control the speed:smooth play,press the melody,coherent play,key play,etc.,especially when 16 note running,do not run hastily,play focuses on the effect of the work.If the speed is too fast that would be lost solemn atmosphere,and if slow down the speed that would be lost composer’s positive.Therefore,the key point is to control the speed.This is inseparable from the basic skills at ordinary times.Hope this study of paper will contribute to the piano majors.
