| In this thesis,I chose the study experience,which I have got from my graduation works,as the main line.The basic idea comes from the research background,research objectives,research significance and the process of art making.During the three years of postgraduate study,my creative thinking has gone through many changes.Finally,I chose the"Chessing" as my creation subject,and to highlight my ideas by dry point.The main contents of this paper are chessboard,map,knife,fork,and interlining.Personally,I think that every life on the earth just like a chessman--was dominated by someone,and the invisible longitude network just like each article line on a chessboard.This article line rules everyone of us,we are unable to overstep the line and have to be administrated by it every day,which just as I couldn’t surpass those so-called "rules" on my way pursuing art.But during my postgraduate study,with the constantly upgrade of my knowledge and experience,I gradually realized that those so-called one’s own idea were not so important.In painting what and how to paint,I select the later one.However,the more important thing is through this series works can show my research results and experience of these three years,and give my works a vivid performance.Therefore in order to facilitate the reading and study,this paper can be divided into three chapters to discuss.The first chapter mainly expounds the "Chessing" creation background,the"Chessing" series of research content,the"Chessing" the purpose and significance of the research.Chapter two discusses the creative process to collect information,creative ideas of evolution and creation process,expounds these three years of my creation experience and comprehension in detail.The third section is a summary of the series works of the "Chessing".I hope that through this series works of the "Chessing" can bring the viewers a special feeling and thinking,and can give them creative inspirations and help on the later.Through the realization of dry point,makes the viewers a better understanding of etchings,and let them gain more in-depth understanding of woodblock paintings. |
