Under the background of "the Belt and Road Inatives",China's research and understanding of the countries along the line is imperative.As one of the major member states,Kazakhstan is a typical Russian background country,and its language and cultural characteristics need to be explored in detail.Different countries,different ethnic groups have their own unique cultural characteristics.These cultures reflect different religious cultures,different traditional cultures and different national spirits.And different language and culture have different historical and cultural background.As an international student of Kazakhstan,I have a deep understanding of the culture of Kazakhstan,through the process of studying abroad,there is a certain understanding of Chinese culture,so you can compare the two cultures.Proverbs as a language form,to convey the complex characteristics of national language and culture.It is a short and pithy,simple and popular statement to express a profound meaning.As Kazak's great philosopher Abba said,"language is the most deadly weapon." People need every day,the most concerned about is the food culture.The ancients cloud "people to food for the day".Diet has always been an indispensable part of people's lives,but also to the greatest extent possible to show a country,a nation's culture.Based on the theory of language culture and diet proverb,this paper studies,analyzes and summarizes the food proverbs and their cultural connotations in Chinese and Kazakh language on the basis of predecessors' research.The similarities and differences between the two countries'food culture and help us to better understand the two countries.
