Tang poetry is an important part of Chinese culture,but also the world literature in the treasure house of a bright pearl.Tang poetry rhythm harmony,rhythm and lively,easy to understand,language most colloquial.The content is very substantial,from the nobility to the common people's life and the feelings are involved.These forms and characteristics of Tang Dynasty on the content,to promote Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary and culture teaching play its unique role.In the teaching of TCSL,the poetry teaching has not been taken seriously.In the textbook,it is set to read by themselves after class.The textbook which specially designed for the poetry teaching is also limited.In addition,“International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education” and “The syllabus of Chinese Teaching for Foreign Students in Colleges” are not included in the outline of foreign language teaching.The textbook writers and teachers will ignore a good resource to promote Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary and culture.In view of this,this thesis chooses to increase the proportion of Tang Poetry teaching,and discuss how to exert its advantages.This paper is divided into four parts:In the first part,it is introduction.In this part,firstly discusses the practical value of poetry teaching;then reviews the important theories and research results of the present stage of Chinese poetry teaching,and points out their respective advantages and disadvantages.Based on the above analysis,summed up the main content of this topic to study.Secondly,it is the features of Tang poetry and its role in t TCSL.In the Tang Dynasty,especially the quatrains,dapper,smooth and harmonious,readable.In foreign language teaching,if the attention of Tang poetry teaching,increase Tang teaching content,and completes the design,can promote the foreign language learners' vocabulary of Chinese pronunciation,cultural connotation the master.In the third of the part,it is the use of the textbook selection and teaching methods of Tang poetry.In this part,the current teaching materials of poetry are analyzed by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of these materials,and chooses a suitable teaching material—“Visiting an old Friend's Cottage”,and then lists the current the commonly used method of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the poetry of the Tang Dynasty,integrated the advantages,find out four methods for foreign language teaching from the Tang Dynasty,finally discusses their feasibility in TCSL.In the fourth part,talk about the design of Tang Poetry Teaching——a case study of “Visiting an old Friend's Cottage”.The design of TCSL has its own characteristics.It needs specific theoretical support.So,in this part,the author discusses the theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.According to the analysis of “Visiting an old Friend's Cottage” and the teaching methods which have been discussed before,the author discusses an operable instructional design.
