Analysis Of Child-based Equivalent Translation And Chinese Translation Of The Adventures Of Dunno And His Friends

Children’s literature refers to literature created especially for children.Russian children’s literature is only one of the branches of Russian literature,a sub-field relative to children’s literature,but it is vast enough to deserve further study.Although cultural exchange between China and Russia is increasing,there is little study upon translation of Russian children’s literature in China.In order to deepen the Chinese children’s understanding of contemporary Russian,and to make up for the gaps of Russian translation studies,this paper intends to introduce the history of Russian children’s literature and its Chinese translation,to show the unique value of Russian children’s literature in China,to analyze the reason why contemporary Russian children’s literature works appear little in China,to put forward the translation theory which guides the Chinese translation of Russian children’s literature and to summarize the translation strategies and methods of Russian children’s literature.The text section consists of three chapters.The first chapter briefly introduces the history of the development of Russian children’s literature,horizontally analyzes the characteristics and translation value of Russian children’s literature.The second chapter mainly discusses the Chinese translation of Russian children’s literature and the challenges it faces.The third chapter analyzes the two Chinese translation of Russian children’s literature works The Adventures of Dunno and his Friends,demonstrated the theoretical value of"Child-based equivalent translation".Based on the position of children,the translator should reproduce the original artistic effect,using the translation methods such as addition,subtraction,meaning conversion,semantic amplication,relational transfer,segmentation and so on.
