The poeticization of the Fu genre-a type of traditional Chinese prose-in the Southern Dynasty(420-589 CE)is a key feature in the study of Fu[I took out the second part of this sentence.I didn't fully understand what was being said in it,but I think it was unnecessary(it was simply repeating what was said earlier in the sentence, right?)].This paper investigates the poeticization phenomenon and its corresponding basis in the creative writing of Fu.The first chapter dates back to the creation concepts of poetry and prose in the early Qin and Han dynasties, finding that the origin and early stage of Fu was influenced by the creation of poetry and Confucian classics;thus, the poeticization of Fu has historical reasons. The concept of poeticization, which was profoundly influenced by the change of aesthetic feeling, was also studied. The second chapter discusses the classification of Fu,distinguishing two subtypes-Sao and Xiao(Small)Fu-each of which possesses its own content and style. The common and distinct features of the poeticization of these two subtypes are analyzed.Common features lie in the use of poetry metrical pattern, such as lines of five or seven syllables to start, and the secularization of creation subject and aesthetic style. The difference,on the other hand,is shown in the fade-out of lyrical subject in Sao and the new change of creative mode in Xiao Fu,namely the change from expressing ethics and political education through describing concrete objects to emphasizing individual subjective emotions. The external indicator[I have no idea about this term.I'm unsure what it means.Might just be a poetry term I don' t know;)]of the Fu' s poeticization in Southern Dynasty is the use of five or seven syllables to start, while the internal indicator[Don ' t know about this one either.I'll take your word for it on these two!]is the identical creation concept and aesthetic thinking in Fu and poetry. Therefore,in the third chapter the creation concept of Fu and poetry is discussed, finding poems and prose that were both influenced by Confucian poetry ' s view of "expressing aspiration" as well as the later-on developed "expressing emotion" and "chanting for disposition".Under this concept, the emotional realm in Sao gradually transits into artistic conception, and the object features in Xiao Fu transits into the construction of environment.[Again,I have no idea if you ' re using the proper terms here.I' m an engineer! I only know science words!]The fourth chapter discusses the aesthetic thoughts of Fu and poetry exploring the development and enrichment of "Li"(artistic effect)in different dynasties. The artistic effect of Fu and poetry gradually coincides with each other, which is summarized as[What common features?Of Li?Of Fu?I don' t know. This sentence will be best presented as a list(e.g."This sentence will be a list:item a,item b,and item c ")][Nevermind,I fixed it]the pursuit of writing in simple and frequently used language, the attention to metrical pattern and cadence, and the emphasis on aesthetic profundity of lyrical expression. The last chapter points out that the poeticization of Fu actually is an active approach to literature aesthetics rather than passive fusion. The sentence pattern of Fu has strong compatibility and function of internalization. The Fu in Southern dynasty still inherits the essential features of Fu.Besides, the Fu and the poetry have their own creation selection and tendency and are not completely identical to each other.
