We will use Heidegger's phenomenological methods to describe the relationship between paintings and the viewer. And the main object discussed is limited among landscape paintings of a German painter Caspar David Friedirich.T he illustration on this issue is necessary.D ifferent with the traditional understanding to aesthetic experience, when we reveal the basic attitude of the viewer on the world, obviously, modern science and technology and the traditional view of the feeling become our obstacle. The aesthetic activity of the viewer does not merely see paintings, because the viewer to create location is also important while the viewer is appreciating paintings. The attitude of the viewer should be understood. And we need to combine with Heidegger's phenomenology of art and apply this strategy to see Friedrich's landscape paintings. It will remind the viewer how to avoid this concept that a viewer sees paintings is to experience happiness. In additon,on one hand,Heidegger's theory on the concept "unitary fourfold" of sky, earth, gods and mortals restricts the subjective dimension of the viewer;on the other hand, phenomenological dimension can enrich and deepen aesthetic experience of the viewer.
