The Research On Dougong Of Ancient Architecture In Zhejiang

Dougong is the most characteristic part of Chinese architecture.Research in the last hundred years shows that Dougong has some distinctive characteristics.But there is no systematic study about whether there are some differences of Dougong by district.This article makes some systematic analysis in the features of ancient architecture in Zhejiang province by the survey of remains of ancient buildings and some relic materials.From the research,we may safely draw some conclusions:in the one side Dougong of ancient architecture in Zhejiang province has the same historical features with others.In the other side Dougong of ancient buildings in Zhejiang province has some local specialties.The formation of local specialties related with regional environment in Zhejiang province and the innovative spirit of Zhejiang people.
