Research On The Innovative Design Of Huizhou Lacquerware Based On Symbiotic Concept

Traditional handicraft is an important part of Chinese culture, with distinctive characteristics of technology and regional cultural connotations. In recent years, with the society to the high quality of life quality demand is higher and higher, the community pay more attention to traditional handicrafts modern "activation" transformation. Symbiosis is a harmonious order consist of heterogeneous elements’coexistence, the symbiotic theory extended to the traditional process of inheritance and development areas can bridge the great gap between tradition and modern which traditional handicraft has faced already. The study takes the Huizhou lacquerware as the research object, aims to find ways to make the traditional lacquerware return to modern life.The research is based on literature research and field investigation. Through a large amount of data, the author sorted out the development of Huizhou traditional lacquer and the characteristics of Huizhou traditional lacquer. And then, combined with the result of field investigation, summarized the present situation of Huizhou lacquerware, And pointed out that the reason why Huizhou lacquerware fade out of the public view is mainly due to the development of Huizhou lacquer far away from modern market needs, modern aesthetic taste, and modern lifestyle.and then the author discussed the necessity of symbiosis between Huizhou traditional lacquerware and modern design. Through the analysis of symbiosis between traditional craft and modern design, and combined with the characteristics of Huizhou lacquer craft, the paper explored three ways of symbiosis between traditional lacquerware and modern design in Huizhou, so as to promote the goods value, cultural value and industrial value of Huizhou lacquerware. And pointed out the direction for the development of Huizhou lacquer. Finally, the author uses the method of questionnaires to know the market demand of Huizhou lacquerware and confirms the design practice of Huizhou lacquerware with Huizhou architectural culture elements by using frame and tea set as design carrier.Through the research of this subject, it is concluded that "traditional" and "modern", "craft" and "design" seem to contradict each other, but there is causality, traditional handicraft and modern design symbiosis is the traditional process from history to present, and From now to the future lies. In addition, the use of regional cultural symbols in the design of Huizhou lacquerware not only complement the practice and theoretical research of Huizhou lacquerware, but also contribute to the spread of Huizhou cultural connotation.
