The Application And Performance Of Musical Element Nanyin In The Trio Of Guzheng "Wei Yi Ge Diao"

The art of Guzheng, together with Nanyin music which has extensive influence in Fujian Province and Taiwan, South Sea Islands presidential areas, have both gone through long historical changes. There exist very profound cultural foundations. Nanyin music in Fujian province is called as the "Millennium ancient music". As the musical work combining traditional and modern creation elements, the trio of Guzheng "Wei Yi Ge Diao" composed by Huang Zhongzhao with the melody of Nanyin music as the composing material, has fully presented the integration of tradition and modern no matter from the cultural connotation, melody construction or the playing skill. This article sets the Nanyin musical element in "Wei Yi Ge Diao" as the the main clue to deeply analyze how Nanyin musical element has penetrated into the creation of Guzheng artworks, so as to discuss the artistic value of combining Nanyin music element and the musical creation of Guzheng, and to provide references for performers and researchers.
