The Role Variation Of The Ancient Literary Figure In The Narrative Works Of Art

In this study, the evolution of Su Dongpo's image is taken as a study object to explore different modeling techniques of different narrative artistic forms such as dramas, films and televisions and novels on artistic images.From the history of Chinese narrative art development and the history of criticism, historical figures that writers and researchers are most concerned about are mainly scholars and officials. Su Dongpo's frustrated life and unique charisma made him a favored artistic figure in narrative writings, while the later generations also have abundant research achievements of Su Dongpo"s artistic images. When dramas in the Yuan Dynasty, Zaju and legends in the Ming Dynasty, and local operas in the Qing Dynasty shaped Su Dongpo's image, they all highlighted Su's casual and elegant image as a wit. In novels in the Song and Ming Dynasties, Su Dongpo is a wit, but not as frivolous and seclusive as the image in dramas. In contemporary art films and televisions, there are images such as "eternal romantic Su Dongpo", "Su Dongpo" and "Libertine Su Dongpo". These are artificially overstating and have the value of being a model of the times. There is only one Su Dongpo in history. Su Dongpo has different images in different styles of art works in different eras. There are reasons of the historical background, trend of thought in literature and art and the forms of artistic carriers. The historical background includes the political and cultural background and literary status; trend of thought in literature and art is mainly about aesthetic orientation. The forms of artistic carriers have an important regulation role of characterization of Su's images. Characters shaped by novels are more ambiguous and malleable; characters in operas are purer and film characters are more immediacy.
