The Beidasivillage On The Tip Of The Tongue:Food And The Study Of Rural Daily Life In The Period Of Collectivization

"Food is the paramount necessity of the people." Along with the continuous development of human society,in terms of both material civilization and spiritual civilization,the function of the food from the original simple meet the demand of human lowest level gradually extend to multiple levels of human life,and even gradually rise to the spiritual enjoyment.And in the rural social with relatively weak material conditions,people have more fresh historical memory about food.In the long historical process,the food with its behind special significance has become the central interest of many scholars study.Therural daily life research in the Collectivization Era is a burgeoning research field,whichhas been drawn more and more attentions from the researchers.However,rural social research is so complicated,that without proper breakthrough point,to split the dimensions of the rural society partition,the study will be lack of research focus.This article is based on the "food" as the starting point and tries to dig deep the relations between the "food" and village change,social change,national policy.The author takes the food as a mirror,media and means to draw the outline of a village in the daily life of the era of collectivization.The Beidasi village is located in Jinyuan district,Taiyuan,Shanxi Province.In terms of its agricultural conditions,it has excellent soil and suitable climate especially convenient irrigation condition.In such a"abundant" village,the author intents to through in-depth field research,going to the village for many times,and with different people conducting interviews,to get more details of oral data,combined with part of the village grass-roots files hidden in the center for social history of Shanxi University,in order to show the rural society of Beidasi village as real as possible.This article,with time clues to the vertical axis,with multiple levels,power,social revolution to the horizontal axis,and the "food" as the themein the whole text interconnected,let historical eyewitness to tell their own stories,so that we can listen to the voices of the underlying social,and their experience and practice in the big changes of society.In conclusion,through studying the two-way interaction between state and the grassroots in collectivization era effectively,the author attempts to in the view of the oral history to show the historical facts,starting from the most ordinary food,to draw the outline of rural society of collectivization era to the background of the structure frame,to show the common people daily necessities and sensitized as much as possible.
