The teachers' professional identity of normal students is a dynamic evaluation of English teachers' professional affirmation.As non-tuition-free normal students cover a large proportion of all the normal students,their teachers' professional identity relates to the professional intention of most normal students and the stability of teachers.English,as a universal language in the world,is a language platform for us to communicate with foreign countries,which can make us learn more about the dynamics of the world and the most advanced knowledge.Since English is one of the compulsory courses in primary and secondary schools in our country,we realize the importance of English and English teachers.So the level of teachers' professional identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students not only affects their satisfaction of work but also determines the stability of the English faculty and the quality of teacher education.In this research,the author adopts the ways of questionnaire and interview,taking the English-major students from Jining Normal University and Inner Mongolia Normal University as research samples.Then the author analyzes the current situation of professional identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students by using SPSS 20.0 fromthe dimensions of professional expectation,professional volition,professional value and professional efficacy and puts forward the following questions:1)What is the status quo of teachers' professional Identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students? 2)Is the teachers' professional identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students influenced by their basic information in terms of gender,the only child,household registration and teaching experience? The results of the research are as follows: 1)The overall teachers' professional identity English-major non-tuition-free normal students is relatively high.Among the four dimensions,their teachers' professional identity ranging from high to low are professional expectation,professional efficacy,professional value and professional volition.2)The teachers' professional identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students is influenced by gender,household registration and teaching experience.The teachers' professional identity of female English-major non-tuition-free normal students is higher than that of male students;the teachers' professional identity of the English-major non-tuition-free normal students from the village is higher than that of the students from the city;the teachers' professional identity of the English-major non-tuition-free normal students with teaching experience is higher than the students without teaching experience.Their is no significant difference between the only child and the non-only child English-major non-tuition-free normalstudents.Finally,in this paper,the author puts forward some feasible countermeasures to improve teachers' professional identity of English-major non-tuition-free normal students according to the possible causes.For example,in terms of employment,non-tuition-free normal students and tuition-free normal students should be treated equally by recruiters,so that English-major non-tuition-free normal students will have more employment opportunities.The relevant government should take measures to improve teachers' income and perfect teachers' social security measures,which will improve the social identity and the social status of teachers,and enhance teachers' professional volition and professional value as well.The schools should focus on improving the level of teachers' professional knowledge and oral English of English-major non-tuition-free normal students,and provide them with more practical opportunities to improve their self-efficacy and teaching ability.
