A Study On The Cultural Region Division In Jilin Province From The Perspective Of New Cultural Geography

Jilin culture is in the "edge" of the Chinese culture system,and the study on the cultural geography in Jilin province has nothing to brag about,which is contrary to the trend of the important dimension of the social and economic system.The rise of new cultural geography has provided new ideas and methods for the zoning of traditional cultural geography research paradigm.Based on this,from the perspective of the new cultural geography,the three basic elements of culture formation and development,namely,time,person and land,were extracted in the process of interpreting cultural formation.With these three basic elements as the starting point and with the relevant literature as the data source,the researcher made statistics,ordered and explored the potential historical basis,national basis and natural basis of cultural region division in Jilin province.The researcher strictly upheld the concept of new cultural geography in the establishment of the concept with landscape recognition as the core of zoning.Around the concept of landscape recognition,the researcher collected and sorted out the landscape with a certain involvement frequency in Jilin Province and established the landscape classification system.Using the collected landscape items,the researcher designed a questionnaire corresponding to 48 regions in Jilin Province one by one.Based on the feedback of the recovered effective questionnaire,the researcher used the established landscape classification system to cluster the landscape items involved in 48 regions in Jilin Province.According to the potential basis of cultural region division in Jilin Province,on the basis of cluster results,the researcher carried out secondary clustering on the landscape items involved in each region,identified the cultural characteristics of each region,verified the cultural sub-region attribution and identified 15 cultural sub-regions in Jilin Province.With the spatial distribution of various terrain topographies in Jilin Province as the macroscopic contour of the cultural pattern in Jilin Province,the researcher identified four major cultural regions in Jilin Province.Among the cultural regions divided by the researcher,the major cultural regions in West Jilin Province include three cultural sub-regions,namely,Tongtaozhen,Changqian and Qian Song.The major cultural regions in Middle Jilin Province include 4 cultural sub-regions,namely,Changchun,Nongfu,Yude and Siligong.The major cultural regions in East Jilin Province include 4 cultural sub-regions,namely,Jijiu,Liaoyuan,Meihuiliu and Yitong.The major cultural regions in Southeast Jilin Province include 4 cultural sub-regions,namely,Yanlongtu,Dunhua,Baiantong and Ji'an.According to the data and results of the zoning,the researcher interpreted the cultural concept that "in Jilin Province,the relationship between various ethnic groups continue to fuse and develop over time,which gives birth to sum of activities and ideology form being recognized by the public",which interpreted the sub-regional culture in Jilin Province,summed up the "historical,national and regional"characteristics of Jilin culture,revealed the cultural phenomenon that "there were huge regional cultural differences in Jilin Province","the development of traditional cultural characteristics encountered bottleneck and merging cultural traits showed great prospect",and put forward the suggestions about cultural protection,development and construction in Jilin Province,such as "selecting top ten cultural cities(regions)in Jinlin Province and promoting the balanced development of regional culture "and" 'Trinity' cultural heritage protection mode is the new idea of cultural protection in Jilin Province".The above research can broaden the depth and breadth of domestic cultural area research to a certain extent at the theoretical level,inspire the fusion of traditional and new paradigm of domestic cultural geography,promote the fusion of excellent culture and the recognition and inheritance of local cultural,thereby providing guidance to cultural protection,development and construction in Jilin Province.
