Mr.Li Huanzhi’s work,"Spring Festival Overture",will ring in the streets and in every household during Chinese New Year.It’s fame is such that every person in China knows it.However,people’s awareness of the "Spring Festival Overture" only includes the national orchestral version of the four hand version of the "Spring Festival Overture," and although heard,no one thinks about it.Therefore,the author of the piano four hands version of "Spring Festival Overture" hopes to popularize it based on the ideas of national characteristics and by doing a performance analysis of this version,described in detail.In this paper,the structure is divided to three parts: the first part introduces the original "Spring Festival Overture" background,national orchestral version,and Piano Four Hands version’s similarities and differences,and piano four hands’ main characteristics and advantages.The second part analyzes the piano four hands version of "Spring Festival Overture" national characteristics analysis.The third part,according to the class notes and experience of performance,discusses the performance of the national characteristics as the prerequisite for Piano Four Hands "the Spring Festival Overture" playing style.I hope this step by step analysis will not only let more people have a more basic understanding about the national orchestral version of "Spring Festival Overture" and Piano Four Hands version of "Spring Festival Overture",but also provide the reference for the point of attaining playing experience like the four hand piano version "Spring Festival Overture" pianist.
