| Er ya is the first dictionary of ancient China,related to word meaning,personal life,astronomy and geography,animals and plants.It is the ancient Chinese encyclopedia.Guang ya collected widely the annotation of Hans,San cang,Shuo wen,Dialect,and augmented by Er ya,so named Guang ya.The current research results of Er ya is rich.There are a lot of research in all aspects of the research,but the research of animal nouns related Er ya is lack.Although Guang ya is very important and valuable,but in contrast the researchers are less than that of Er ya,the research on animal nouns of Guang ya is much less.In this paper,the animal names of Er ya and Guang ya is a research object,using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis method to research the following five aspects:First,the present research situation,research meaning and research methods of the animal names in Er ya and Guang ya.Second,comparative research the lexical structure of the animal names in Er ya and Guang ya,finding out the same characteristics and the different characteristics of them.The animal names of Er ya is mainlymonosyllable,and there are also some polysyllabic words.Polysyllabic words which the animal names of Guang ya occupy a dominant position.Third,comparative research the exegesis methods of animal names of Er ya and Guang ya,to make a conclusion: exegesis methods are mainly divided into explaining in words and sentences,both of them and others.Fourth,comparative analysis the interpretation contents of animal names of the Er ya and Guang ya,finding out the rich connotation of interpretation,involving the definition of a word and the interpretation of a synonym.Fifth,the animal names of Er ya and Guang ya have very important contributions,but also have some disadvantages.This section mainly reveals the contribution of the animal names in animal classification,the animal word group and the explaining of the animal words,and also reveals the lack of confused classification,the lack of the definition and exegesis terms.Through a study of the animal names in Er ya and Guang ya,we can find the cognitive situation to the same animals in different times,can also reflect the the cognitive situation to different animals in the same times.Based on the detailed analysis of the animal names in these two books,we can grasp the appearance of Chinese ancient animals,and the relationships of Chinese ancient people and the animals.We can alsohave a certain understanding the attitude about the animals of the ancients and their thinking. |
