Study On Nan Huaijin's Interpretation Of "The Analects" And Its Enlightenment On Carrying Forward Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture

Nowadays China has gained remarkable success in economic construction,but due to the impact of western culture and the decline of traditional culture,society appeared the phenomenon of moral decline.As Nan Huaijin mentioned that developed material civilization and poor inner world of modern people has formed a sharp contrast.That is spiritual crisis.It is only through proper ways can we promote the spreading of excellent traditional culture and improve people's cultural quality as well as moral quality so that we can relief the spiritual crisis.Nan Huaijin uses a "storytelling" way to interpret the true connotation of traditional culture which closely relates to the social background and his profound knowledge of traditional culture.He firmly defend the excellent traditional culture and he hopes his interpretation can improve society.His interpretation of of "The Analects" is easy to understand and it promotes the spreading of excellent traditional culture.This paper explores Nan Huaijin's interpretation of "The Analects" and its enlightenment on carrying forward excellent traditional culture.First of all,I systematically comb the main contents of his interpretation of "the Analects".He attaches great importance to individual personal morality cultivation,social ethos and the essence of Chinese traditional culture these three aspects.Secondly,I summarize its enlightenment on the promotion of traditional culture as following points.Carrying forward excellent traditional culture must deepen excellent traditional culture education and change the transmission ways of traditional culture.In order to spread the socialist core values,we can cultivate good quality of honesty to refine personal morals,adjust social ethos via reading and develop culture through both subjective aspects and objective aspects.Ultimately,our national cultural soft power will be enhanced.
