| Tao Te Ching legend for Lao Tzu,also known as Lao Tzu,where the thought of living contains a profound philosophy,super wisdom and rich life experience.The thought of living is the discussion of the principles,about the individual in the face of life and society,which should be followed.Lao Tzu proposed to Tao as the fundamental of the universe and the origin of all things;the universe is all by the Tao generated.Tao in the role of all things in the world will show its laws and characteristics and these metaphysical laws and characteristics will be implemented to the real life to the level of performance for the people to serve the guidelines.From the natural philosophy to the pursuit of value in real life,attitude towards life and methods of living,the doctrine of doing things in Tao Te Ching both has its theoretical basis,but also has practical guidance,constituting a set of complete theory of living.Compared with the thought of Chuang Tzu’s theory on life,Lao Tzu’s thought is more realistic and instructive;compared with Confucian thought,its theory is more systematic and more in line with the spirit of naturalism.This kind of thought had great influence on the ancients of China.Today,with the excavation of Lao Tzu’s thought,it still has important modern value. |
