With the development of positive psychology, subjective well-being is a core concept of positive psychology.Resources can be divided into internal resources and external resources, but the research of considering the effects of internal and external resources of subjective well-being research is less.Future-oriented Coping is a new perspective in the field of coping research, and some studies found that resources affect subjective well-being through future-oriented coping, whether there are age differences in relationships among resouces,future-oriented coping and subjective well-being of adults from different age groups is unknown. This study selected 283 young people(18-35 years old),340 middle-aged people(35-60 years old),319 old people(>60 years old)as our participants. The results are as follows:1)As adults age, social support,self-efficacy and life satisfaction increase gradually, optimism, negative emotions, preventive coping and proactive coping decrease gradually.Life satisfaction of young and middle-aged women is higher than men, older women's positive and negative emotions is higher than men, women's social support and self-efficacy is higher than men,and old-aged men use more proactive coping than old-aged women2)Internal and external resources predict subjective well-being differently among youth,middle-aged and old-aged and proactive coping is more important than preventive coping for subjective wellbeing.3)Preventive coping and proactive coping are two-step multiple mediators between resources and subjective well-being verifying the dual phase sequence model of future-oriented coping.
