With the improvement of people's the continuous improvement of living standards,people's basic survival needs are met and begin to pursue a higher level of spiritual and cultural enjoyment.At the same time,people's consumption structure is changing.Cultural consumption no matter from absolute numbers or relative quantity is increasing.After recent years of booming development,the cultural industry has become an important part of national economy for many countries,and cultural consumption has become an important content of people's life.So many countries have issued a series of policies and measures to encourage cultural industry development and to improve the cultural consumption,which has played a more important role in national economy.The cultural industry of America occupies a dominant position in the world,while the US is also a cultural consumption country.In recent years,the US economy gradually recovered from the financial crisis,and most industries have achieved growth in both sales and profits.In this context,the cultural industry is still an important contributor to the US GDP.But compared with cultural powers such as the United States,our cultural consumption amount still have room to improve and is extreme imbalance between urban and rural areas.In the present industrial severe overcapacity,under the condition of weak domestic demand,the healthy and rapid development of cultural industry is particularly important for the smooth transition of industrial structure in our country,and cultural consumption continues to contribute to the healthy growth of GDP.Therefore,studying from foreign cultural power is very critical to the development of China's cultural industry and cultural consumption.The study history of cultural consumption is not long,but with the effects of foreign scholars,the study of cultural consumption has developed basic framework.The start of Chinese study of cultural consumption is a little bit late and the cultural consumption is put forward in 1985 in China.Therefore,the theory of cultural consumption in China is still far from enough.Under this realistic background and theoretical background,this article takes the American cultural consumption as the research object,and uses statistical method from the Angle of empirical analysis,and provides theoretical reference for the development of China's cultural consumption.This article can be divided into five parts and five chapters:the first part is the chapter one,which mainly introduce the conceptual meaning and content of cultural industry,cultural consumption's definition,the classical consumption function theory,the research on cultural consumption at home and abroad.The second part is the chapter two of the article,the main analysis of the current situation of American cultural consumption and cultural industry background.The third part is the third chapter of the article,which discusses the factors that affect U.S.residents' cultural consumption from the perspective of supply,demand,the price and policy.The fourth part includes the fourth chapter of the article,in this part using the co-integration theory and error correction model,I analyzed the various factors that influence American culture consumption.The last part of the article is in the fourth chapter,on the basis of measurement results,and combines with the common part of Chinese cultural consumption,policy suggestions are put forward.
