China’s quality education is in a critical period of development,primary school education is the foundation of the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education,social parties continue to increase primary school education,primary school campus environmental quality put forward higher requirements.At present,the public space of primary school campus design some second city still use outdated facilities,outdoor games,lack of innovative design,space layout of the lack of regularization,affect children’s game initiative and aesthetic thinking,has become an urgent problem.Public art is an important yardstick to enhance primary school campus environment quality,is a carrier of interaction between people and the environment.This paper is based on the public art and primary school campus environment on the basis of relevant theories,summarizes the importance of primary school campus environment interaction,the Hefei city primary school to conduct field research to understand the use of the status quo of public art in the campus environment,and found widespread problems.Finally,through seven examples of public art design in Hefei City Tong Primary School campus environment,combined with the actual needs of students,put forward some improvement of campus environment design and the design strategy,strengthen open,interactive,learning three-in-one teaching ideas,hoping to create a fun,interactive games and campus space.
