An Aesthetic Study Of The "Spring Breeze" In Taiwan

As a classical Taiwanese folk song, "Spring Breeze" has attracted numerous players to give it new meanings and forms. In various artistic practices, the author has played for many times this song which features unique artistic style and charm, thereby getting a deep understanding of its aesthetic beauty. This paper analyzed Spring Breeze's appearing backgrounds, melodic features, dialectal beauty, etc., and revealed the permanent beauty. In addition, from the prevalence of this song and various forms modeled thereupon, it explored the newly-formed charm of it against a different background.
