The word "willing" had been used in primitive Buddhism. What is "willing"? It generally meant craving for Nirvana. Until formation of Mahayana Buddhism, the so-called concept of "Bodhi path" appeared. It describes the original vow of different buddhisattvas. It focused mainly on how buddhisattvas achieve their own merit in order to benefit sentient beings. Boddhisattvas recognize different kinds of suffering encountered in people's life. Therefore they were willing to stay in the Saha world in five stages of impure in order to save suffered beings in samsara. Moreover, Bodhisattvas give great vows and mercy mind. They use convenient methods to guide people into the road of peaceful and happiness. Furthermore, they can enter into the Buddha's wisdom deeply and achieve realms of deliverance. Especially Ksitigarbha bodhisattva who did not only a vow of saving sentient beings occasionally, but do so life after life. There is even such a big vow of "To achieve Bodhi only after all sentient beings were released. Not to be a Buddha as long as the hell is not empty." Because of this, Ksitigarbha bodhisattva is known of his original vow in the Mahayana sutras. Most importantly, sentient beings are expected to escape suffering realm by the power of Ksitigarbha bodhisattva's original vow. It can be said that original vow is the fundamental power of actions of Ksitigarbha bodhisattva. In other words, after the belief of Ksitigarbha bodhisattva was introduced to China, it was well interpreted and become the core belief of general public, especially after preachers successfully integrate filial piety of Chinese with great vow of the bodhisattva. The so-called bodhisattva path, was evolved into the idea of redemption, and even into folk beliefs and the Taoist method of salvation. In short, the process of which the Ksitigarbha bodhisattva's great vows and filial spirit was integrated and developed with in China has become a most warmly research topic nowadays. Therefore, I select the topic as object of study in my paper. I would like to divide it into two kinds of spirits to elaborate the Bodhi action of Ksitigarbha bodhisattva.
