The Study Of Dance Images Of Sichuan During Qin-Han Dynasty

As we know, Sichuan Province’s unique geographical environment and special climatic condition made the local culture developed and equivalently the cultural changes brought the changes of dance.Under the time background of unifying six states by Qin, the level of Sichuan local dance has been raised like never before during Qin and Han dynasty. And it was influenced by the developments of Sichuan Province and Central China area. At that time, the music-accompanied dance showed the characters of absorbing widely from other dances and integrating them into one. So the local dance in this period covered various dance genres such as folk dance with operas, palace music dance, religious dance etc., and especially the folk dance, developed quickly. In the era of unifying, the images of dances in Sichuan made great significances. In this paper, we will start from collecting and analyzing the images of Sichuan regional dances, and then classify the types and explore aesthetic characteristics of dances.This article is divided into six parts. In the instruction part, the background of choosing topic, the research content and its meaning will be put forward firstly. Furthermore, the scope of the research, domestic and foreign research situations and methods will be referred as well. Then in chapter one, we will study on the background of creating the image of Sichuan regional dance. The chapter two is about the classifications of dance images according to their materials like categorizes are brick, stone, pottery figurine and ancient bronze. Then in the third part, we will make a research on the dance styles based on the characters of the dance images. In the next chapter, the styles and aesthetic characteristics of Sichuan local dance will be discussed. And there will be a brief summary of the whole article in the end.
