The development of native literature today seems to have been settled, it became synonymous with the local landscape, rural farmers, vulgar folk and so on. It looks fresh and natural, but native literature as a separate performance space is not inborn. Explore the origins and changes of native literature, as Tanikogen Kara said, " discovery of the landscape", which need in the context of a complex era through her carefully constructed its minutiae, need to use local knowledge and the production mechanism to get a glimpse of its nature. At the beginning of the 20 th century, China from a closed and self-sufficient state passively involved in the tide of modern western civilization, the traditional great Kingdom becoming the outcast of the times, a large number of native born, the overseas degree of intellectuals through the influence of literature consciously assume the task of national reconstruction, as the earliest named "native literature" and theoretical exploration of Zuoren Zhou is not exception. However, Zuoren Zhou on Native Literature knowledge is not static, in the mid-twenties for the time node, before and after he showed a dramatic contrast: the pre-basic theme comply with the May Fourth Movement, post and advocate local regression. Regardless of the local is enlightenment or poetic, and relevant to the reception of modern folklore knowledge, especially Kunio Yanagida folklore has a crucial impact on him, this effect is not so much intellectual as it is methodological. So,instead of saying that this paper is about the "native literature" of Zuoren Zhou, it is better to explore why it is, its general abstract analysis of why it has become so, as he knew to cause mutations in a discourse " device " –according to Kunio Yanagida ’s folklore as the starting point to go deep in to it, observed what it is and how they are produced.
