A Study Of Yuan Mei’s Yongwu Poetry

This thesis takes Yuan Mei’s poems as the object of study and aims at analyzing the content and artistic features of his Yongwu Poetry which under the guidance of the“Theory of Spirit”. The article first focuses on the two aspects of the characteristics of Yuan Mei Yongwu poetry and creative stage to grasp the creation of his poems. After having a sense of the whole poems, I make a depth analysis of the connotation and writing characteristics of Yongwu Poetry. The study found that his Yongwu Poetry pay attention to expressing feelings of self related rate because of attaching great importance to the temperament. It also focus on the performance of secular life. It is stripped of the Confucism, ethics of the shell, as is true and touching. The artistic styles of Yuan Mei’s Yongwu Poetry are rich and varied. His poems on the creation of the poetry from the traditional poetry to draw nutrients, but also reflects a distinctive sense of innovation.
