As the country's political, economic and cultural center, the Beijing residents' diet life not only reflects the level of the city's modernization, but also reveals the influence of the traditional political culture. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there are a variety of traditional food in Beijing. At the same time, people can buy the western food such as bread and coffee in the market. The citizens' choice of the staple food, non-staple food and beverage is more diversified. In order to meet the needs of people from all walks of life, the feast activities of Beijing residents increased. The banquet food becomes more and more luxury, and the western banquet becomes a new fashion. In my opinion, the Beijing residents' daily diet life fuses the Chinese and western characteristics. In addition, the diet life of the ordinary residents, banner class and the Senior intellectual class of Beijing is leisurely and hedonic.
