The Business Letter Writing Mutual Reference Research Between China And America

Business letters are a kind of applied literary form,that are written throughout the business activities.Its main function is to transfer the information which the business activities need,with the enlargement of the scope of business activities,the quantity of business letter is becoming more and more and at the same time,the requirement of quality is more and more high.Cultural traditions in China and the United States are different,in different culture background write a business letter also has the huge difference,these differences embody their own characteristics.After tracing the cultural background of China and the United States,this paper analyze five kinds of business letters.They are cover letters,transaction letters,marketing letters,charging letters,thanks and complaint letters.Concluded that the two sides can learn from each other,and finally summarizes the points can be optimized in business letter writing.
