Artificial life technology is a huge breakthrough in the field of synthetic biology.Purely on the scientific view, this is undoubtedly a major scientific advances. While, we need to investigate and judge the social significance of this research from the ethical dimension. In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the value of this new technology and evaluation. At the same time, analyzing on the development of science and technology from a view of the ethics can make the science and technology develop more healthy.Immediately the ethics research the natural objects or natural persons, The emergence of artificial life indicates that artificial life can be used as the object of ethics. It quickly leads to intense discussion in the community. Whether the artificial life should be legalized is increasingly fiercely discussed. It is because the artificial life can cause a lot of ethical controversies that make people have different attitudes on the artificial life, it has been popular with people's concern and discussion. The article firstly starts at the concept,such as the definition of life and artificial life, clear definition is the premise to research its ethical issues. Then I will analyze what the ethical controversy the artificial life may lead to, this part is mainly from three aspects: life ethics, medical ethics and social ethics. By the plight of these three aspects, the supporters have the positive attitude on artificial life,while the opponents have the negative attitude. Then by teasing out the argument on the ethical dilemmas of artificial life, people will have a more comprehensive understanding.Last, I will propose to my attitude to the artificial life and the possible solution to the controversy.
