The Discrimination Of Theory In The Treatise On The Unreal-Void

This thesis is based on what was expounded in “The Treatise on the Unreal-Void”written by Seng-Chao.I divide it into four chapters and try to gradually expand the discussion about Seng-Chao “Unreal-Void” thoughts.The first chapter of the thesis takes the view of sage “the self Unreal-Void of everything” as the core.This chapter makes a good foreshadowing for the structure and layout of the thesis.Start with the local Buddhism and the mysticism of Wei and Jin Dynasty confluence to elucidate the meanings of Mahayana Prajna emptiness.It is pointed out that the sage is not free from the ideology of “the self Unreal-Void of all things” as well as grasped the thought of following Zhong Dao in Buddhism.In the second chapter,i aim to investigate Seng-Chao corrected Hsin-wu sect,Chi-Se and Pen-Wu sect's concepts of being and non-being.This is a transitional chapter.In the third chapter,i take the law of Karma as the center and then talk about being and non-being.Therefore,i discuss the theory of Seng-Chao “Unreal-Void”.The fourth chapter of the thesis is based on the center of “All things are not true and the False name endured for a long time”.It is demonstrated from “The name is not in conformity with the object”.In a word,In this paper,i take the ideology of Seng-Chao “The Treatise on the Unreal-Void” as the thread.Therefore,on the basis of fully research,i attempt to analysis and sort out the ideological clues and structural layout in Seng-Chao treatise.Furthermore,i try to reveal the gist of “The Treatise on the Unreal-Void” and put forward some of my own thoughts and insights.
