| The self-reference and transferred-reference is so an important grammatical phenomenon in the use of Chinese language that philologers always attach great importance to the research of it. However, there are also many arguments about the belonging of linguistic facts to self-reference or transferred designation. In order to have a more completely understanding of the self-reference and transferred designation, some disputed typical cases of The self-reference and transferred-reference-the grammatical function and grammatical meaning of marked Chinese nominalization“ 的, 者, 所, 之”written by Mr. Zhu are chosen as samples to analyze the significances of the self-reference and transferred-reference which have been mostly studied such as “English suffixes” 、“Chinese suffixes”、“VP 的”、“VP 者”and“所 VP”.The article is made up of three major parts.The first part, Chapter 1, is the Introduction which introduces the significance of the choosing subject and the research status.The second part is Chapter 2 to 6 which is the main part of the article.The Chapter 2discusses the self-reference and transferred designation significance of English suffixes and Chinese suffixes from the standpoint of word-formation.In the aspect of Chinese suffixes,the self-reference and transferred-reference significances of“-ation”and“-ment”are discussed.For English suffixes,the word class of“塞”、“盖”、“印”、“画”in“塞儿”、“盖儿”、“印儿”、“花儿”are talked out to understand the self-reference and transferred-reference significance in Chinese suffixes.In Chapter 3 to 6,the self-reference and transferred-reference significance of“nominal clause leaded by that”、“VP者”and“所VP”are analyzed carefully.In each chapter,firm conclusions are reached by the analysis of typical examples in the self-reference and transferred-reference.The third part, Chapter 7, is the Conclusion. It concludes the main ideas and deficiencies of writing in the article and proposes research prospects of “The self-reference and transferred-reference”. |
